November 19 - 21, 2008 • Carnegie Mellon University • Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Program Overview
International and multi-cultural environments, as well as change and complexity in business create ample opportunities for misunderstandings and poor communication. Both will have negative effects on people and businesses. But, how do we navigate this cultural and organizational complexity to beneficial effect? The two key tools to help better manage these challenges are cross-cultural management and change management. The seminar helps participants better understand how to manage intercultural differences amid steady change and works specifically on the levels of managing multi-cultural teams and the communication among them.
